NearBuddy is an adults-only (18+) dating and nearby-discovery app. It helps you meet real people near you in a simple, respectful way — with an anonymous account, so you can start meeting people without handing over your phone number, email address, or identity.

NearBuddy is created by NAMAVI TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED. NearBuddy is the company's first app, and more digital products may follow.
What we believe
Namavi Technologies exists to build honest, transparent, and privacy-respecting digital experiences — at a very low monthly cost, roughly the price of a tea, a coffee, or a bar of chocolate. NearBuddy is free to use, and its optional Ad-Free Subscription is offered in that same spirit, with the current price always shown by your app store before you buy.
Our approach is simple:
- We do not unnecessarily collect or retain your data.
- We do not misuse, sell, or unnecessarily share your data.
- We avoid unnecessary access to your device.
- Your safety, your privacy, transparency, and truthful product behaviour guide every product we build.
We would rather tell you plainly what a product does — and does not do — than over-promise.
How NearBuddy protects you
Anonymous by design. Your NearBuddy account is anonymous. NearBuddy does not use a phone number, email address, password, one-time code, or identity check to sign you in.
Privacy first. NearBuddy uses your location only to show how near other people are — your exact location is never shown to other users, only an approximate distance, and NearBuddy does not use background location. Photos have their embedded location (EXIF/GPS) data removed, and any face detection used to prepare a photo happens on your device. NearBuddy's free experience is supported by ads, which you can remove with the optional Ad-Free Subscription, and it does not sell your personal information.
No hidden charges. NearBuddy is billed only through Google Play or the Apple App Store, and NearBuddy never collects or stores your card or bank details.
Safety in your hands. You can Block and Report other users at any time, and NearBuddy sets clear community and child-safety standards for everyone. NearBuddy is honest about its limits: it does not verify every person's identity, and it does not proactively monitor every message or interaction, so please use your own good judgement and the safety tips in our Safety Information.
Truthful about your data and your account. Because accounts are anonymous, a lost or deleted account cannot be recovered — and we say so clearly. When you delete your account, deletion is permanent, and it is done from within the app.
